After research on some of the architects I decided on doing my precedence study on Thom Mayne and his group morphosis. I'm mainly focusing on his United States Federal Building located in San Francisco, California. I thought this building was interesting mainly because of its skin. The skin is known to be "alive."

My first site analysis was the study of natural sunlight and shadow that locally affected the site. Then I began to expand that idea and began to investigate the light affects that occur during the night.
My initial study with bacterial growth got more specific with the behaviors of salmonella typhimurium. Initial studies focus on the different situations of salmonella growth. Then I began to research on the causes of different rates of growth in salmonella. Then I ended up with a diagram of the different situations of bacterial growth and evolved it to a simple formula one with just the different rates then another with in incorporation with time.
